Tracky the app has no server and no account, so there's almost nothing for a privacy policy to cover. This page is about the one place that's different: this website, which uses a small analytics tag and an optional sign-up form.

The app

Every client, project, time entry, and setting is stored on your Mac using Apple's SwiftData framework. Nothing is sent to a Tracky-owned server, because there isn't one. There's no login, no usage analytics, and no telemetry built into Tracky itself, so what you track stays between you and your Mac.

A backup export is a plain JSON file that only leaves your Mac if you copy or send it yourself, for example to move to a new machine. Planned iCloud sync will run through your own Apple account, not through a Tracky server, and will be off unless you turn it on.

This website

This site uses Google Analytics (gtag.js) to see how many people visit and which pages they read. IP anonymization is turned on, and both Google Signals and ad personalization are switched off, so visits aren't tied to a Google ad profile or used for cross-site advertising.

Clicking "Get notified" opens a form hosted by Tally. If you submit it, your email address is stored by Tally on our behalf, solely to send you a message when Tracky launches or when pricing changes. It's never sold or used for anything else.

There are no ad networks, retargeting pixels, or third-party trackers on this site beyond those two tools.

Your rights

You can ask what data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or unsubscribe from the launch list at any time by replying to any message you receive from it. For anything analytics-related, Google's own privacy policy covers how it processes anonymized visit data.
